Ataman of the Cossack Congress in America visited France, saw the Leibgard Cossacks museum, and had an opportunity to talk to the Cossack organizations in France.

November 15, 2014 30th anniversary of Metropolitan Hilarion’s episcopal consecration and the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Eastern American Diocese.

On November 14-15, 2014, a celebration will be held at the St. Alexander Nevsky Diocesan Cathedral in Howell, NJ, in honor of the 30th anniversary of Metropolitan Hilarion’s episcopal consecration and the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Eastern American Diocese. Cossacks are invited to participate in this joyous celebration, which will take place in the presence of the Kursk Root and myrrh-streaming Hawaiian Icons of the Mother of God.

Ataman of the Cossack Congress in America to attend service in Saint Alexander Nevsky Cathedral Rue Daru, Paris

The Ataman of the Cossack Congress in America Iegor Brun de Saint Hippolyte will attend liturgy in Saint Alexander Nevsky cathedral located in Rue Daru, Paris, for the recently passed holiday of The Protection of Our Most Holy Lady the Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary (Pokrova). He will meet with the Cossacks from the Union of all Cossacks founded by Petrovitch Bogaïevski, and gladly speak to any Cossack wishing to meet with Ataman Iegor.

Leibgard Cossacks Memorial Service, dinner and opening of events for the 5th Cossack Congress in America

On October 10th, 2014 Cossacks and guest of Montreal gathered together in the Cossack Chapel and held a memorial service for the Leibgard Cossacks. After the service, the Ataman of the Cossack Congress in America Iegor Brun de Saint Hippolyte gave a speech in honor of the fallen Leibgard Cossacks, and of all fallen Cossacks. Memory eternal!

The Cossack Congress participated in the first yearly commemoration of Black Ribbon Day in the nation's capital. Organized by the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, the event took place on August 23rd and also marks the 75th anniversary of the Molotov Ribbentrop Pact. "Black Ribbon Day" commemorates the lives lost to totalitarian dictatorships.
